History and Culture
Pembrokeshire has many castles and churches which are worth visiting for anyone with an interest in history or architecture. The famous cathedral and Bishop's Palace at St Davids (photo above right) is a good place to start, but there are charming sites tucked away in every corner of the county. Pembroke castle is amongst the most interesting and impressive. Many of these historic locations provide the stage for theatre productions and medieval re-enactments (photo above left) in the summer months: ask us, or pick up a copy of the visitor's guide for more information.
